Since the beginning of Matthew Tapp Design, we have had the pleasure of working with a vast array of different types of businesses, from environmental & agricultural, holiday & hospitality... right through to fashion & beauty.

Being based in beautiful North Devon, we enjoy working closely with local businesses but also have many clients from across the UK, as well as further afield.

Matt

Founder, Web Design & Development

Matt is the founder of the business and has over 15 years’ experience in the web design & development industry. He has a BA(Hons) degree in Graphic Design and after working for various local companies, back in 2018 he decided to take the leap and start his own business… and Matthew Tapp Design was born.

Matt has website experience in a wide range of industries and enjoys bringing his expertise to clients at different stages in their business journeys - from small start-ups, right through to large & established national and multinational companies.

He prides himself on being a visual developer, capable of combining creative design with technical development. His skillset ranges from business branding & design, right through to technical & bespoke website development. Having trained originally as a Graphic Designer, his extensive expertise in logo design & branding, allows him to create high quality non-digital marketing as well. His specialism is in Wordpress website development but also has a comprehensive knowledge of other platforms such as Shopify.

Catherine

Content Creation, SEO and Project Management

Catherine has worked on a wide range of content creation projects, including copywriting for new websites, writing blog posts, creating social media content and Mailchimp campaigns. She has always had a love of writing and enjoys creating content for use across a number of digital platforms. Her social media work has even caught the attention and been used by large national & multinational companies, such as Usborne Publishing and Made.com.

She achieved her SEO Specialist certification in 2021, enabling her to optimise new websites to make sure they don’t just look great, but perform well too. As well as optimising new websites, she also performs monthly website updates and speed & security checks for existing clients, ensuring website functionality & performance remains optimum post launch.

Her time in the office is also spent managing projects from start to finish and beyond. Ensuring clients’ expectations are met at all times and communication is prompt.

Will

Web Design & Development

Will started working with us at the beginning of 2023. With a background in marketing and having worked in the digital industry for over six years, he appreciates the importance of design, user experience & functionality for all types of business. Will is responsible for the creation of new website design & build projects and has substantial knowledge and experience of using the Elementor website building platform.

As well as website design & build projects, Will has a keen eye for detail and enjoys getting involved in a wide variety of other jobs, including logo & graphic design work, website updates, maintenance & optimisation.
